Athena Gyro - Réservation de table

We stopped in for lunch after seeing so many great reviews. Lunch did not disappoint! We got 4 dips to start and a chicken platter with fries to share. Greek salads came out first with a really nice, light, zippy dressing. From the dip platter our favorite was the spicy feta dip, followed by the tzasiki. When the chicken arrived it was very moist and oregano forward as you might expect. And the fries were wedges crispy outside and super creamy inside. We don't pass through too often but this place left a great impression and we will be back!!

Fishkill is rich with Dining opportunities. The Newest addition to dining on main street is a true enrichment for the community. Across from the long established photography Studio is this new pearl.The Menü is rich in verity the items are authentic the owner and the chef is Greek and the food will confirm it.We were there a week after they opened and they already had a good flow of takeout orders.My wife had the Salmon and I had the Gyro platter.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in back leading to the parking lot.

Great neighborhood place for Greek food, ample parking on the street and behind the restaurant. We tried several dishes and all were pretty good, maybe with the exception of the salad, which had fresh ingredients, but the dressing was runny. They seemed to be short staffed, so service was somewhat slow. There was also a band playing, rather loudly, took the coziness out of the place.Nevertheless, we will be back for dine-in or take-out.

Today, the day after Easter, I got takeout from here. Previous take in last year, Gyro, lovely. Today, sadly, the lamb was slaughtered at Acropolis. Fries….sad beyond words. Staff, could barely lift their heads from cell phones to give me my takeout. Dog would not even eat the meat. Disappointed, and understand why it’s going away. Réservez une table maintenant

Completely unaccessible food.Meat was precooked and reheated making it very dry.The rice was soggy and tasted like cheap chicken broth.Soup was cold and the T sauce was plain yogurt.

My gyro meat was dry and the sandwich was over-garnished with lettuce. Didn't taste good at all.

Great food need I say more guys don't settle for second best Greek food go to the best .
