J'aime cette boutique de gâteau et je suis toujours en tête quand je suis à Marrikville! Il suffit d'acheter quelques petits échantillons de pâtisseries aujourd'hui pour vous reposer avec un livre dans le parc, chacun était divin de sa manière artistique, sérieusement, j'ai pris de petites morsures pour les apprécier et chaque texture et saveur complexes. Truely m'a fait comprendre la différence entre «juste une collation de masse produite» et «art».
I love this cake shop and always pop in when I'm in Marrickville! Just bought a few little sample pastries today for a rest with a book in the park, each one was divine in its own artful way, seriously, I took small bites to appreciate them and each intricate texture and flavour. Truely made me realise the difference between "just a mass produced snack" and "art".
Première fois acheter de ce magasin. J'ai acheté le gâteau de velours rouge pour une fonction. Valeur étonnante pour l'argent. Grande taille et très bonne valeur. Il semblait étonnant et était absolument délicieux et tout cela était parti dans les 10 minutes! Sera certainement de retour.
First time buying from this shop. I bought the red velvet cake for a function. AmaZing value for money. Great size and extremely good value. It looked stunning and was absolutely delicious and the entire thing was gone within 10 minutes! Will certainly be back. Réservez une table maintenant
I love popping into Athena Cakes whenever I am in Marrickville. I love grabbing a freshly made spanakopita (pictured) or baklava or a bougatsa (pictured). It’s pastries I would never make at home and they are always consistently good! #athenascaleshop
Je suis allé pour le vieux baklava fidèle, Galaktoboueko et Kataifi. Assez bien mais très doux et syrech, avec pas assez de saveur. J'ai eu de meilleures pâtes dans d'autres Galaktoboueko. Je serai de retour pour essayer d'autres gâteaux cependant.
I went for the old faithful baklava, galaktoboureko and kataifi. Pretty good but very sweet and syrupy, with not quite enough flavour. I've had better custards in other galaktoboureko. I'll be back to try other cakes though.
