Was up visiting family they had heard great things about the “grinder” sandwiches at this place so we though “when in Rome”...we placed our to go order. Was told 25 minutes it was pretty close to that. Order was well packaged. It was quick very good customer service when paying. The food was good the sandwiches were a good size for the price. The cheese pizza was also good size for the price. We had a club grinder (add bacon), pastrami grinder, roast beef grinder pepperoni grinder for 5 adults. Don’t think you can wrong with any of the grinder options. Give it a shot.

The remodel is fantastic! You should definitely check out this wonderful neighborhood gem and support Athens—it's worth the trip no matter where you're coming from. The food is excellent, and the staff is even more impressive! The grinders are simply the best! The bread is toasted to perfection, loaded with plenty of flavorful meat and cheese. It was my girlfriend's first visit, and she was completely amazed by the cold cut grinder. I'm serious—they're that good! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as takeout options.

As for the pizza, I found it just okay—not outstanding. When I grabbed a slice, most of the toppings just slid off the crust. The baked spaghetti didn’t impress me either. The prices are on the higher side, but I won’t take off a star for that. With inflation being what it is and the challenge of retaining staff, it's understandable that wages need to be higher. However, I did expect a bit more from the food. Also, the salad could definitely benefit from having more vegetables beyond just iceberg lettuce.

Great homestyle Greek and Italian dishes. Been going there for 25 years... Yum! It has changed. After being closed for 16 months due to fire, it has reopened. The interior and exterior has had a beautiful refresh and update. The food is wonderful as always. Réservez une table maintenant

They are an awesome friendly staff. Family owned and operated. Great food and their Grinders are spot on perfect. They are back open from the fire. And their remodel is looking Sharp. My photo is of their fabulous tasting baked spaghetti.
