Athos - Réservation de table

Currently there are only three or four restaurants that are open after the floods of mai in grimma. this place is located directly on the market in the city, with sitting outside the rathaus above the square. promoted by what must have been one of the hottest weeks in the opposite for a long time, eating alfresco was a joy. large selection of Greek specialties, along with more Germanic meat dishes and fine beer and wine, it was a good opportunity to step back and graze while in the sun. the service was not particularly fast, but was very courteous and friendly. there was no hurry.

restaurant in the first floor in the middle of grimma. Greek based with extensive menu. I don't speak German and had difficulty deciphering the menu (as well as google translate.) the main room is divided into cozy but open niches. it was quite full for a Monday, with many locals. I have ordered at the end of Feta cheese (which was very beautiful) and lamb chops (which were fantastic). large portions came hot out contains a free aperitif and a side salad with delicious dressing.

on 10.06.17 we met with friends in the athos at the market in Grimma.We were 8 people and were kindly received.The reservation worked and we got the service was very friendly, fun and pleasant.Card and first drinks came time-saving.The selected meals were served at the same time and tasted very delicious.In particular the lamb is recommended.It was a nice evening and we come to the last guests. despite reservation we were in the process for some time, as nobody felt in the position to take care of us. from other Greek restaurants you are actually used to, which is warmly welcomed immediately after the pure. after a question at the bar staff came back only a sniffy " they have to wait".The eating was okay, price performance was really good and especially convinced the cozy furnishings.

unusual for a Greek restaurant in Germany, the athos serves quite real Greek eating instead of the too often encountered huge baptisms tasting pork and lamb lumps. they have a selection of excellent appetizers and they will not make anything wrong.

I usually eat here at least once a week dinner, eating is consistently good and the staff is quite good. many natives can be seen here, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere and good society.

very recommended! the ambiente very nice is located directly on the market and very nice staff! from bus station only 1 min to foot away.
