Great location on the waterfront and ideal for watching the sunset. Restaurant is primarily for tourists and therefore don’t seem concerned about repeat business. Our starters were good but main courses were cold. Service was mixed as you got whoever was available to come to the table. When we raised the problem of the cold food we were told they would let the kitchen know…….nothing else. At the time of paying we asked to pay in euros but were charged in pounds. This was the servers mistake as he pushed all the buttons……lack of training perhaps? As we had online card notifications we immediately saw their mistake and got them to correct. This was a great spot for dinner! I booked a table for the family, but my husband was really suffering from jet lag and he stayed behind. It was just my two year old and me, so I opted for just a main (black linguini with shrimp). Service was a little slow to get started, and it’s definitely tourist prices (hence 4 stars) but they were very friendly to my son and the food was good. Bonus: after we ate, kiddo got to do his favorite activity this summer: throwing rocks in water at the beach just below. If coming by ferry, be sure to know the schedule! We just missed one and waited over 20 minutes for the next.
The view itself is stunning, however the service is the worst I have ever received. We waited 30mins to have a drinks order it was impossible to get anyone’s attention. It seemed they had “regulars” as their attention was on serving them as priority. The food is definitely standard no flavour nothing special so I would definitely skip this restaurant and grab a pizza and sit on the beach just in-front of the restaurant as the only thing it has going for it is location. Such a shame as this could be an amazing restaurant.
Amazing experience! Staff were attentive and didn’t rush us despite queues and being very busy. Food was lovely and wonderfully presented. We got a table right on the dockside with an amazing view! Food was reasonably priced. Altogether a really wonderful family meal. Highly recommend getting a table for sunset as it was beautiful to watch the sun set over 25 Abril bridge and see the boats with sails up going under it whilst enjoying our beautiful meal Réservez une table maintenant
The only good point of this restaurant is the location and the view. The food was cold, the typical dish « Bacalhau à Brás » tasted a lot eggs of course, there is egg inside, but we already ate this dish in other restaurants much better), the homemade limonade is not sparkling, it’s only still water with lime… really disappointed :
Incredible view from the table here of the sunset. Well worth boat trip over made for a great experience. Tuna was a particular highlight. Service was good and they didn’t rush you off the table to make way for others which was good. Would definitely recommend for a memorable evening
What an amazing experience! Sunday afternoon, lovely views only Surpassed by the food served to our group of 4. Service was attentive and very accommodating to gluten allergy. Took the ferry and walked along the Tagus for an exceptional afternoon! Réservez une table maintenant
