Going thru security, I was stopped, frisked, then the tsa went through my luggage. I didn't realize until I was in Florida that I didn't take my knife out of my purse. So, I got on the plane with the knife not detected, even though they went through everything in my luggage. The knife will be shipped back to my final destination. So, now I wonder how many other items go through that are undetected.?
ACY is a small airport that currently has Spirit as its only major airline. The terminal is easy to navigate, allowing for quick entry and exit, and it offers convenient access to major highways leading to Philadelphia, New York City, and all the attractions along the Jersey Shore.
A breath of fresh air compared to major airports. No lines, not even short ones. No waiting around only to learn your flight is delayed or canceled. No dense hoards of people in the walkways. Far fewer food venues for sure than major airports, but so what you are not there to eat.
I had an excellent flight to West Palm Beach, FL on Spirit Airlines. We took off before any storms hit and even arrived 30 minutes early! The crew was really on top of things today. It's so convenient for us here at the shore! Réservez une table maintenant
The Airport it self is perfect looks very nice from the sky. People on frequency were helpful.FBO let it down a bit. Although the airport is used to flight school traffic the FBO is not, just keep a hand in your wallet ?
The airport is excellent! It's convenient, with easy parking and a good variety of shops for a smaller airport. Taxis to Atlantic City cost $40 and can accommodate up to four people.
Very small international airport. I walked in and got thru security quickly and walked to my gate. I passed less then 20 people along the way. I got to the airport 1:15 early.
