This restaurant feels like coming home, filled with fond memories. My family used to visit this area for fresh chicken and meat, which was known as one of the best places in Baltimore for quality ingredients. However, things do change over time. The last time I visited was in 1998 with my mother to enjoy the corned beef, and I’m glad to say it tastes just as good today. I had both the corned beef and the roast beef during my visit. The corned beef is made to order, served on rye bread with mustard, just the way my dad likes it, and I’m a traditionalist when it comes to these things. The sandwich was warm and delicious from the first bite to the last. It’s large enough to share, but honestly,...

I'm not trying to spoil anyone's fun, but I wasn't impressed with the corned beef sandwich I had. Across the street was Jack's, where there used to be a line out the door. They served hot corned beef right out of the water, sliced fresh and steaming in front of you. It was thickly cut, juicy, and they didn’t bother weighing each portion—there was no time for that. The meat was piled high, and you could even request a "lumberjack" size if you wanted extra. Next to that was the deli hot dog area, where you could get a delicious fried bologna to top your hot dog. I understand that times have changed, and the demand for such a crowd hasn't been the same, but the cold corned beef I received at...

Visit for the historic ambiance and choose your order carefully. This deli, which first opened its doors in 1915, is the oldest family-owned deli in the country. Today, it remains a simple, no-frills establishment with dedicated staff members who have been there for many years. The menu is extensive, offering everything from sandwiches to desserts to chips. During my visit with a group of seven, we tried the chicken salad sandwiches, pastrami on rye, kishka, pickles, Caesar salad, and chicken tenders for the children. Out of everything we tried, the pickles and kishka stood out as the most impressive. The rest of the items were average. If you have the chance to stay, I recommend heading to...

The food at Attman's Delicatessen is absolutely amazing! I ordered the shrimp salad, my husband had the chicken salad, and we got a corned beef on rye for a friend. When our plans with that friend changed, my husband and I ended up sharing the corned beef. It was incredibly tender and practically melted in our mouths. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The sandwich maker even chatted with us throughout our visit and generously offered samples of anything we wanted. Réservez une table maintenant

I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others. As a customer of the best delis in NYC I expect more from a deli perhaps. I ordered a Reuben combo sandwich. Prepackaged pastrami and corned beef was very dry. There was no trace of slaw, a little Russian dressing... waitress left my order sit after tipping... There are better sandwiches to be had in Bmore. The sandwiches really are wonderful, the Reuben is worth the hype, but for the prices I wish the portions were a bit more generous. Everyone in my household was happy with the food they ordered, and while it is certainly worth stopping by whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I don't think it will usurp other options I have within walking distance when I'm hungry. We ordered delivery so I can't presently speak to the service or atmosphere inside.

Great little vintage sandwich place. Offering New York style corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Prices are reasonable considering the thickness of the sandwiches that they offer (around 13.00). Love hidden little vintage Baltimore finds such as this place! Dining is also available in the shop. Haven't tried the desserts, but looks good and reasonably priced too. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Attman's Delicatessen is undoubtedly one of the best delis I've ever visited and, in my opinion, the finest in Baltimore. Their pastrami sandwich is exceptionally tasty and leaves you eager to return. The portion sizes on the menu are generous, especially considering the price. Highly recommend! Attman's Delicatessen is exactly what you’ve been searching for in a deli. I ordered the Regular Hot Pastrami on Rye, and the pickle along with the homemade kettle chips were absolutely outstanding! Their menu offers a perfect selection that truly delivers.
