Atura Roadhouse Bar and Grill

Roadhouse Restaurant at Atura Blacktown for dinner last night: I debated about posting this but.....I loved the old Caddy outside! convertible: wow! I ordered an entree of olives to be followed by a gram scotch fillet with mask leak plus a side...of brocollini. I waited a while for the entree, then the main arrived seconds later! The waitress offered to keep the steak under the heat lamp while I had the olives. The olives were very nice. The main was then served again. The medium-rare steak was raw in the middle and I mean RAW! The broccolini was cold .....this all created a meal that was not enjoyable. I usually avoid putting up bad reviews but this was so disappointing.

For what was suppose to be a functional weekday meal transaction with business colleagues following a day of work in the area became an unexpected gem of a dining experience. Quite simply the waiting staff have been well trained and are engaged. Furthermore...pub fare coming out of the kitchen was well presented and tasty- thx chefs. The place is new, with a warm interior. I can recommend the steak. Others enjoyed the burgers and salt and pepper squid. Location is next to a drive in, so maybe have some early evening quality pub grub, before enjoying the latest release in the comfort of a panel van. How retro.

While the table looked lovely, the food was not what you expect for high tea... high tea “with a twist” it is advertised as... the sandwiches were large and too much cheese, the pikelet stacks were rubbery and tasteless, the scone was ok but...the cream was SO SWEET it ruined them. I couldn’t eat the chocolate cake as I was feeling ill after the scone! Worst of all, we waited about hour for our tea! This should have been served first. We were there with a group, which may have been the problem, but I would not recommend it for high tea for anyone. The venue itself was fine, and other meals may have been ok.

Have stayed here for over two years and enjoyed it, previously wrtote an awesome review about customer service and atmosphere here. Unfortunately this place has had several staff changes which now equals inexperienced staff providing VERY POOR customer service. Had rooms booked for business...but after a bad experience like tonight with the restaurant and then with a very inexperienced bar tender I will no longer take my business or family there. Big disappointment when a place you have known and enjoyed looses it's character. Réservez une table maintenant

We went for dinner on a Saturday night. Have been before so booked beforehand to ensure a table. Food was delicious! I had my personal favourite of the cheeseburger. Was super tasty and delicious. Dessert was the chocolate fudge which was very rich but delicious...nonetheless (would recommend sharing due to the richness). Staff were friendly and helpful and service was reasonably fast. It's really nice to look out at the pool and to see the interesting architecture of the hotel. Would definitely return!

We’ve visited a few times and have always loved the food, the popcorn prawns are amazing! It’s a little on the expensive side but we don’t mind paying once in a while when the food is so good. Plenty of yummy cocktails on offer too!...The atmosphere is good, nice outlook out to the pool area. Parking isn’t always the best though as the car park is often full. You don’t need to be staying in the hotel to eat in this restaurant.

Atura is very modern nice hotel in western Sydney, i Wish they bling this Restaurant a bit with Quality Food Reasonable Prices more variety Breakfast selection of Food, Clean place, Modern, in my opinion they need to bring restaurant food quality variety.. prices to a different level

Great atmosphere, has a pool table and tv's. Service was a little relaxed. Food was really good, friend had a steak and I had the parmigiana. The best part of the meal was the chocolate brownie which is highly recommended if you love chocolate ..very rich but delicious! Réservez une table maintenant

Love a great steak..an excellent wine..fresh mushroom sauce...finished with a stout...after strong black coffee

Great place ... great food ... good service highly recommend little pricey but that was the only complaint
