My wife and I had been here several times before and the experience was exceptional. So we thought it would be a very nice place for our 40th anniversary dinner celebration. I called the day before and asked to speak to the manager. I told him we were coming in and would appreciate a nice table and some special attention. While he seemed to be either too busy or too indifferent to my request, he said they provide a (gratis) celebratory dessert. First, let me start by saying that the food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only drawback to my experience was the long wait times at the table. Our server would disappear for long periods of time. I found myself looking around the restaurant to try and flag her down. What made it more difficult was we were seated with our backs toward the whole restaurant facing directly outside. It was difficult to turn around and look as the large backs to the chairs created an obstacle to look for our server. For my main course, I ordered the fillet cooked rare, and it was hands down the best steak I have ever tasted. Brad opted for the salmon, which was equally divine. For dessert, we chose the crème brûlée and cheesecake, both of which were outstanding. We were recommended this restaurant, and I’m so pleased we decided to go. It's situated in a stunning hotel in Geneva, with a lovely atmosphere right by the river and nestled in a small garden. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Now, let's talk about the food—everything was delightful! I ordered the salmon, which was cooked to perfection, while my husband enjoyed the prime rib sandwich, accompanied by fries that were exactly how fries should be. The prices at the restaurant bar keep rising, and the portions are getting smaller. For instance, all of their cocktails are priced at $15 or more, with most of them costing around $17! The servings are noticeably smaller than they used to be as well. They also have the audacity to charge an outrageous $67 for a 12 oz prime steak! We used to visit this restaurant weekly, but that’s no longer the case. They really need to adjust their prices to reflect better value.

We like going to Atwater's every month or so. The ambience is classy, perfect for romantic dinner. It's right by the river so you can even sit outside by the riverfront. The food is always great, but our visit today was made extra welcoming by Trisha. She's an amazing host, very kind, considerate and ensured that we had a great time. The river view was truly pleasant! The Prime Rib Steak Sandwich reminded me a lot of an Italian beef from Portillo's, and another member of my group had the tomato bisque, which was quite tasty. Overall, I would rate the food as a 2, the service as a 2, and the atmosphere as a 2.

This delightful little restaurant offers some of the most amazing food I've had in ages. It's an ideal spot for a special occasion. The service was exceptional! I'm sure I'll return, especially when the weather allows me to enjoy the lovely outdoor seating. Réservez une table maintenant

We had a wonderful evening with a delicious meal on Sunday. The crab cakes and short ribs were outstanding, and the filet and duck were also excellent. The ambiance was lovely, making it a perfect place for a special occasion.
