Atwater’s - Réserver une table

My wife and I had been here several times before and the experience was exceptional. So we thought it would be a very nice place for our 40th anniversary dinner celebration. I called the day before and asked to speak to the manager. I told him we were coming in and would appreciate a nice table and some special attention. While he seemed to be either too busy or too indifferent to my request, he said they provide a (gratis) celebratory dessert. First, let me start by saying that the food was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only drawback to my experience was the long wait times at the table. Our server would disappear for long periods of time. I found myself looking around the restaurant to try and flag her down. What made it more difficult was we were seated with our backs toward the whole restaurant facing directly outside. It was difficult to turn around and look as the large backs to the chairs created an obstacle to look for our server. david was an amazing host: knowledgeable, friendly, professional. we always want to sit in his face! eating is always brilliant. we tried the cookies this time and the heavy ones.

Small but very nice dining room. Service can sometimes be slow but can have leisurely conversation.
