Went there for beer. The atmosphere is fine and the beer menu looked okay. But I ordered a lager which had clear off-flavours (I'm guessing was stale, oxidised or had something to do with insufficiently clean lines), and my friend ordered a Guinness which was one of the most comically bad pints I've seen in a very long time. Looked more like a milkshake than a pint of Guinness. Was presumably single poured. That one person poured that and another brought it out and served it with a straight-face, as well as the lager I got in terrible condition, tells me that the knowledge of bar and beer culture here is very poor. Not for the knowledgeable or discerning drinker…
