I went to the Chat Noir with some friends this evening, and had quite high expectations given the good reviews it had; unfortunately, I left the place disappointed. The restaurant was clean, the employees were really friendly, and the menu looked quite tasty. I ordered some veal with mushrooms, while my wife had lobster. The problem is, both of those were really, really too salty. I finished my meal one hour ago, and I can still only feel the salt in my mouth... If that was a regular restaurant, I might have given it three stars. But given the high price tag, I don't think it's worth more than two. I definitely won't be going there again.
Accueil très sympa, dans un restaurant bien situé, pas loin de la gare et à 2 pas du parking Bellefontaine.Le service est sympa, avec de bons conseils. La carte est courte, et en période de chasse, nous avons tenté la noisette de chevreuil, très bien, ainsi qu'une cocotte à l'orientale, très bonne également, le tout avec une belle présentation.Même si c'était bon, 200. à deux, avec une entrée à 25. et un plat entre 45. et 50. , pour ma part je trouve trop cher.Style brasserie, mais très bruyante
The food is absolutely incredible. Olivia is a joy as a server. Great attitude, animated and fun. Also great for English translation if you're French is not good. This is probably my tenth time here and I've never been disappointed in the food or service. The Jambon starter and the veal chop main dish were perfection. Swiss prices are always a bit heavy but this place is well worth the cost.
Une table entre amis , nous étions 6 , nous avons tous pris entrées, plats desserts , et ce fût un succès pour tout le monde Tres belle carte des vins, service pro et de bons conseils Sauf petit bémol les tarifs pratiqués sont tous de même assez cher mais assez monnaie courante sur lausanne Ca ne nous empêchera pas de revenir à l'occasion Merci pour ce bon moment Réservez une table maintenant
