After being closed for a few year as the whole building was refurbished the restaurant has reopened smaller bit still with the same warm friendly atmosphere.It's a good place to go either as a couple, a group of friends or with the family. Can highly recommend the Pizzas freshly made and big....The home made hamburgers are also fantastic, you can also pick the size of them.They have a big blackboard on the wall where you can make choice and also has the specialities indicated.Would recommend reserving in the evenings and weekends as its a popular place.There is plenty of parking just down the road about 200m helps build up your appetite as you will not come away hungry.Nice selection of wine...

5 minutes agoWhen we found ourselves in Orbe due to vehicle problems we were very pleasantly surprised to learn what a lovely old town it is. Then we stumbled on Au Cheval Blanc at lunchtime ! Wow ! A lovely friendly relaxed welcome. Sat on the very cute ‘terrace’ and enjoyed a beautiful fresh 3 course special lunch. We added another course just because everything looked so tempting. A definite highlight to what could have been a disastrous day ! Will return if we ever get back there again. 100% recommended. Also a very clean place which in these strange days is even more important. Thankyou.

Sa...on the very sweet “terrace” and enjoyed a nice fresh 3-course special meal. we added another cure just because everything looked so tempting. a clear highlight, which could have been a devastating day! will return when we are ever back. 100% recommended. also a very clean place that is even more important in these strange days. Nous avons passé un excellent moment gustatif ce dimanche carte réduite mais parfaite point de vue des plats proposés)Nous avons dégusté des filets de perche aux saveurs de citrons confits et curcuma et un tartare de boeuf délicatement assaisonné avec des frites fraîches maison à tomber...Bon assortiment de vins de la régionEn bref, rien à redire seulement du bonheur

Un repas un dimanche à midi avec une petite carte. Point n 'est évidemment besoin de quantité quand les plats simples sont réalisés avec soin et certainement avec amour. Un Syrah de M. Bovey a complèté notre bonheur.

Always welcoming, and always willing to serve you quickly when you are running late. The pizza is excellent (and huge), large selection. The burgers also. I am a faithful customer, at least once a month
