We were in the area, so we didn?t make any reservation and just showed up in-person. Two ladies working at the kitchen served us politely and pleasantly. We went home with a big heavy box ? with the Gourmet Ma Cabane meal. Everything is pre-prepared and nicely packed; they took everything out from the freezer. The omelette we had to cook ourselves. The potato were nicely seasoned. Amazing smoked hams, apple dessert and maple popcorns. The pea soup wasn?t that much spiced, so we added some salt. We heated up everything ourselves at home, and it fulfilled our cabane à sucre appetite! A nice Easter long weekend meal!
Ordered a box of ?ma cabane à la maison?, trying to help a local shack. However, super dissapointed with the food. Sausages had green spots on them (eew), the pea soup had no taste and peas were hard, the potatoes seasoning was overly spicy. The quantity of syrup and tire recieved is a joke. Received a mini bottle of syrup (like 1/2 cup) and a spoon ful of tire. The add didnt mention quantities so be aware it is really not much. I would not try the experience again at that shack
I celebrated my wedding there. Everything was perfect. Warm person, intimate place, magnificent furnishings, number 1 service and excellent food. I recommend without a doubt. J?ai célébré mon mariage à cet endroit. Tout était parfait. Personne chaleureuse, endroit intimate, décors magnifique, service numéro 1 et nourriture excellente. Je recommande sans aucun doute.
We paid our host $95 per person, which covered filet mignon, soup, salad, cake, and coffee. The food was outstanding, and the price included tips and taxes, making it worth the cost. However, the space felt a bit cramped for 60 guests, and the dance floor was smaller than expected, leaving little room to move around. Overall, it was a lovely experience!
I ordered the "ma cabane à la maison" for two. Wow, what a disappointment! As others have mentioned, it lacked flavor and was extremely bland—seriously, have they ever heard of spices or salt? The cardboard box had more flavor than the food itself. However, don’t worry, "la tablée des pionniers" near Tremblant is a fantastic five-star option!
