Au Pied Dans Le Plat

We Googled this restaurant and understood that it was open all day. We arrived at 1.50 pm and were told that we could have a salad. Not a tomato salad but one of their choice. We took a couple of minutes to think about this and, when we returned to the restaurant, they said that they were closed and we could order nothing. The owner could simply have said that his restaurant was closed and that he was sorry. Sadly he was very rude to us and we shall not venture there again. Customer service is paramount. Please learn from this.

The name means the same as the english expression to put your foot in your mouth. But, nobody 's foot is on the plate here. Just freshly prepared dishes at a fair price. Don 't expect a 3-star meal at these prices. But, the food is good with a menu sufficient to meet most people 's needs. English is spoken.

The restaurant was busy at lunchtime but when we arrived in the evening it was quiet. A friendly place with good atmosphere Well prepared, tasty food served by pleasant staff

Very welcoming and friendly. Great tasting food! Nice in the sun on an autumn day. Family friendly. Will for sure come back.

We were 5 people 3 adults and 2 children of 6 years. Nice place and food was good.i would recommend the place to friends
