Au Vieux Duluth - Réservation de table

The food was exceptional—generous portions and expertly prepared. I sampled a few dishes from my friends' plates, and everything was delicious. The restaurant is usually bustling and can get quite noisy when it's at full capacity. The service, however, was only average. Our server was young and seemed overwhelmed, as her section was too crowded for her to manage effectively. We had to remind her a couple of times about our water, and the checks took a while to arrive; I saw her make four trips to our table before we finally received them. Despite that, she was polite and apologetic. It wasn't her fault; we all have to start somewhere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Every time I visit my sister in Montreal, I order from Vieux Duluth because I'm a big fan of their surf and turf. However, tonight’s order was below par and quite disappointing. They got the salad wrong, and the filet mignon was cut into pieces and not cooked as I had requested. Additionally, it's frustrating that I have to order extra garlic butter for the shrimp since they forget to include it in one out of every two orders. Given that one meal costs nearly $90 (including DoorDash fees and a generous tip for the driver), I expect a much higher level of quality.

Very loud atmosphere.My kids meal was overcooked.The restaurant was understaffed.Overall experience not that great.The ratio of quality/price is not that great!At least our waitress was awesome and did all that she could for such large groups.

The staff at the restaurant are wonderful! Each and every one of them. We held a birthday dinner there, and the food was great, accompanied by excellent service. Réservez une table maintenant

Be sure to make reservations for a Friday or Saturday night. The souvlaki was just as I had hoped, and I really appreciated the bring your own wine option.

Steak not filet mignon as advertised. Just a cheap, very tough piece of meat.Overall food not very good. More expensive than local competitors.
