We had not been back at the Auberge de Confignon for a while, and today we lived to regret that ... so seated under the trees with a wide view over the Geneva, today we savoured the delicacies for lunch from the day's menu a succulent tuna carpaccio, followed by an original chicken saltimbocca and from the à la carte menu tender roasted coquilles (with apologies that asperragus were no longer in season, replaced by avocado) and a delicious steak tartare. The waiter seduced us with a desserts of prunes (actually, a hybrid of prunes and apricots) with orange sorbet. We could then do nothing else but conclude a great meal with digestives abricotine and calvados. We are not letting time slip by...
