Reposting review here to ensure it appears on both profiles for this dame property from hell... If it were not for the food one of the best dinners on our Tour du Mont Blanc this place would have to be written off, pure and simple... as we arrived the owner was sitting outside reading his book surrounded by dozens and dozens of flies, not a great first sight, but a good indication actually of what was to follow. Our room was minuscule (room 6 and felt like a prison cell; ceiling looked like it was going to fall off; flies everywhere there as well; but a decent size shower with good water pressure. We loved this little gem of a place in the mountains. After cycling from Geneva we were caught in heavy rain at the foot of Roseland. After climbing and descending a short distance we were cold and wet but received a really friendly and helpful welcome and were soon enjoying a beer after a revitalising hot shower. The room was comfortable and the storage and drying facilities were perfect. Food and drinks were brilliant value with a four course dinner and a breakfast of coffee on tap with bread and preserves and cereal with yoghurt. The staff worked really hard to make sure everyone had a comfortable stay and was well supplied. Would visit again without any hesitation

Nous avons séjourné ici pendant une nuit pendant le TMB et nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Les chambres étaient propres, bonne pression d'eau, joli coin salon extérieur. Argent comptant uniquement pour le bar et pas de wifi. Le petit déjeuner était un peu trop simple (yaourt, céréales, pain), mais le dîner était simple et savoureux (soupe, pommes de terre, compote de bœuf, fromage, panna cotta). Nous faisions le transfert des bagages et nous pensions au départ qu'ils ne pouvaient pas transporter ici, mais ils le peuvent tout à fait et cela s'est bien passé.

Nos attentes à l'égard de cet endroit ont été dépassées par l'incroyable dîner qui a remporté la meilleure nourriture de notre groupe pour le TMB. De bons endroits pour s'asseoir et prendre un verre après la randonnée. Petit marché avec snacks à proximité. Les dortoirs et les douches étaient assez standards pour le TMB. Personnel super sympa

The food was simply great. Nothing fancy nor complex, just good and generous. The dining room is nice and feels good. The owner and chef knows and like his job: it tastes ! Breakfast was also really good.
