We arrived a little early but the room was ready, in fact we could choose which one we preferred. Small but with a good view towards the Abbey ruins,as opposed to being at the back with no outlook. Quiet and comfortable. We had booked a table for 7.30 and ordered beers beforehand at 7, they came at 7.45. We waited and waited alone in the sitting room until 8.15 before making our own way to the dining room which by now was busy, mainly with locals, so another wait. The food was very enjoyable, nicely presented and good portions. However, the table service and courtesy was lacking, we had to ask twice for bread, not offered, and our wine was opened and left in the ice bucket (no invitation to...
