Auberge De L'isle

This understated restaurant on the banks of the Sevre Nantais is a pure delight. On a sunny day you can dine on the terrace shaded by the Wisteria, and if the weather is not so kind, the delightful interior is most welcoming. Virginie Albert and her team will look after you, and service is with a constant smile. The menus are always inventive and the food is cooked perfectly, and there is a dessert trolley to die for! It's a bit off the main route to anywhere, but well worth a detour.

J'ai été invité jeudi de l'ascension, merveilleux repas, en qualité, quantité et surtout très bonne cuisine du poisson par le cuisinier qui a fait l'école hôtelière du rock, qui n'est pas rien, la plupart maison, il voit immédiatement, et en plus malgré les vacances, un prix super abordable, félicitations également pour la réception tout en sourire et discrétion, merci pour ce bon moment.

We drove an hour to get here and it was worth it. The food was excellent. Simply presented but good quality. limited choices on the menu and definitely no burgers on the menu. The wine was very expensive but good quality. Will definitely be going back. The environment is beautiful.

one of the best meals I have had the past 2 years of visiting the area , a wonderful place to go for a walk also. Will definitely go back .

Beautiful location. Very friendly staff. Book in advance to get a table by the river, as it gets busy.
