We have been to the restaurant for lunch on several occasions. In summer, the outside seating area is awash with beautiful flowerbeds and hanging baskets. In winter, the inside eating area is snug and cosy. The plat du jour is very reasonably priced, always offers a choice of meat or fish for the main course and is beautifully presented. More importantly, though, it tastes delicious! Last but not least, the staff are courteous and attentive.So, if you're looking for a lovely spot for lunch in the countryside near Geneva, do think of this Auberge. You won't be disappointed.PS. We haven't yet dined there in the evening à la carte but it's definitely on our list.PPS. You can always check the plat du jour on their website. I just wish more restaurants followed their example.

We stumbled on this restaurant as we biked through Genthod. It was a sunny day and were able to have a relaxing lunch outside on their patio. The food, service and atmosphere on the patio made for a great meal. Unfortunately we had to get back on our bike and head back to Geneva! While the 34cf for their lunch set menu is more than I would usually chose to pay, it actually was a great value when you consider that the beautiful scallop salad, roast chicken with a wonderful mushroom sauce and peach sorbet for desert all were top notch and generous portions.

Have been there recently for Christmas lunch with colleagues. Have chosen suggestion du chef. And it was amazing!!!The starter - assiette de degustation: fois gras, salmon, canard, salad, toasts - exquisite and abundant. Turkey, gratin and legumes with mushrooms gravy as plat principal. Raspberry gateau for dessert. Excellent service. Very charming place. Highly recommended!

Perhaps the regular menu offers better, but this was easily THE worst "plat de jour" I have ever eaten in Switzerland. In fact, it was so bad that neither my husband nor I ate. We managed through the salad (which was third rate), but the main course was so bad we took one bite and left the rest - despite the fact we were hungry.They should be ashamed.
