Auberge Jurassienne

Ate here on a sunny evening so sat outside on the terrase. There were 2 different priced 'menus ' available as well as a la carte. Wait staff were very friendly though our limited French curtailed conversation. Clearly a popular location despite being off the main road and I understand why. Cuisine is fairly typical of the area though rather more polished that at other nearby establishments. We ate from the 25Euro menu and there were about 4-5 choices for each course and we (3) all enjoyed what we tried though my son was a little unsure about the duck boudin (black-pudding like) sausage.

We had an excellent family meal sitting on the terrace enjoying the sunset and the light features in the garden. We all had the set menu which had sufficient variety for us all to be happy! Food delicious, service excellent and very good value. We are visiting the area for a while longer and plan on eating here again!

We had prebooked a table and had a nice table for 5 in the shade on the terrace outside with view to the countryside. The restaurant offers a nice choice of specialities from the region. We had rizotto with muchrooms and vin jaune.

We discovered this restaurant while cruising around the Jura. So far our best restaurant experience. The plat du jour was excellent! Also service very friendly and capable. Pls ask for the lamb, so good.

La première fois que j'y suis allé. Très agréablement surpris par sa qualité.
