We knew the option was the set menu or vegetarian alternative. We chose the veg soup to start, had to ask for salt because it was tasteless. My partner had chosen the turkey curry with ratatouille and broccoli purée to which the veggie alternative was the same without the curry, so I asked for an omelette. The curry (no rice! and veg looked foul but my partner has a stronger stomach than me and managed to eat it. The omelette was the second-worst I’ve had in France, tasteless, overcooked and rubbery, I ate a few mouthfuls and filled up on bread. The dessert was lemon cake, which was dry but just about edible. We did tell the waiter and he was charming, gave us the coffees free and charged 10...
We visited in a group of nine friends and the food and service were excellent. The hosts were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The choice of food was good, authentic and delicious. Unfortunately, the vegetarian option was very limited a salad although, on request, an omelette was prepared, which our guest was more than happy with. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will be returning.
Delicious food . Set menu is available but can order separately too. Lamb skank, beef bourguignon, duck, salmon starter with pickled veg and icecream for dessert was delicious! A one star down as chicken was over cooked and dry but ok due to sauce. Owners are lovely and try their best to speak English very welcoming and always so helpful. Crepes in the morning are good too!
We were thrilled to get a table at this delightful little restaurant! Great service , very committed waiter , all our dishes were small, but adequate…. The ambience was lovely , happy , contented people eating slowly and chatting away …. Very fair price for 3 courses at 16 euros each , and we left very very happy
