Aunties Dumplings Restaurant

Went for dinner on Saturday night and thought we would try a different place in Carnegie. Arrived before 6pm and were seated and then got in trouble for giving our entree order to the server who bought the wine glasses. Service overall was average at best, unhappy staff who seemed unhappy that were we there. Dumplings were great but the same could not be said for the fried rice and fried kwai teow. The fried rice had peas and chopped carrots (yuk) and the kwai teow was swimming in some type of sauce. The ultimate insult was being charged $7 for two for corkage. We won't be back.

Auntie's is a bit of an institution around Carnegie, it is where you go when you're looking for super tasty dumplings, provided quickly, when you're not fussed about service quality or fancy surroundings. If you're expecting high quality customer service or plush furnishings, go to one of the higher priced dumpling houses all around Melbourne.

5 pm on a Monday night and very quiet. All I wanted was some Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce. It came quickly, was delicious but a small serve for $14.50!!!

Get your dumplings here because they taste very good and they are the best dumplings and yea they are delicious and get the pan fried because they are good

Good food... so authentic in all aspects : Fresh clean and tasty Nothing more to say.... very well priced as well... all the rest is a bonus enjoy
