Kathy was genuinely interested in chatting with us and was very engaging and personable. She even shared her favorite specialty pizza with us. The level of attentiveness and joy she displayed was remarkable. Here are a couple of examples that showcase her heartfelt service:
- After our pizza was served, Ms. Kathy checked in with us to see if we needed anything. I requested a certain number of sour cream packets, and she added an extra one just in case.

Aurelios Homewood is the best. Pizza is always consistently good and service is usually efficient. The problem I have are the restrooms. Unless I am unaware, they do not offer a wheelchair accessible restrooms (to be clear a stall with a door that opens out and has a wheelchair sign, is not wheelchair accessible.
Whenever we use to order pizza in NW Indiana we would go to the tropical places but once we paid a visit to the Homewood Aurelios that was all it took I now drive from Munster to Homewood to pick up our pizza and more if/when we have no desire to dine in that's how much we love it! it's in the sauce!
the new york in me wanted to hate but this pizza was absolutely delicious. Sarah our server was so nice and i will definitely recommend this to people who come to Chicago! ask for the brick oven, doesn’t disappoint.
