Had dinner with my wife here last night, a place we have frequented a few times as its local. Most choices were OK but one that we ordered (slow braised octopus) was very ordinary. When the waiter asked if everything was OK, we'd left the dish uneaten as the octopus was soggy (watery)and had no flavour whatsoever, she dismissed this as irrelevant given it was a slow braised dish??? I challenged her "opinion" that was how it was supposed to be and again she pretty much wasn't interested and dismissed our complaint. Je suis allé là-bas sur la semaine du restaurant spécial à moitié prix. Nous avons eu 3 entrées et 2 grandes et 1 plat d'accompagnement. Le toung de Veal n'est pas frais, vous pouvez parler de sa texture et de sa goûte. Le céviche de pétoncle est un goût rafraîchissant et piquant. Le chef de ce restaurant semble trop aimer l'acidité dans les plats, tous les repas ont un goût d'acide fort. Mon partenaire de restauration n'a pas aimé, mais je suis d'accord avec ça. Le pate du foie de canard est bon mais pas génial. Les principaux sont bien cuits, mais les ingrédients ne sont pas de standard élevé. En combinaison, la nourriture vaut la peine d'être une visite pendant la semaine du restaurant.
Went there on the half price special restaurant week. We had 3 entree and 2 mains and 1 side dish. The veal toung is not fresh, you can tell from its texture and taste. The scallop ceviche is refreshing and pungent taste. The chef in this restaurant seems to love acidity in the dishes too much, all the meals have a strong acid taste. My dining partner did not like it, but I am ok with it. The duck liver pate is good but not great. The mains are well cooked however the ingredients are not of high standard. On overalls, the food is worth a visit during restaurant week.

Le restaurant est un joyau caché dans la région. Beaux murs de grès et assez intime mais calme. La nourriture est de très haute qualité et c'est un très bon restaurant pour un bon dîner fiable. Les steaks sont géniaux et le menu contient généralement quatre ordinateurs (un plat d'agneau, un poisson, un boeuf et végétarien) plus des spéciales. Peut réserver sur dimmi qui est aussi un énorme plus. Le steak était très grand mais se cache sur la photo que j'ai téléchargée.
Beau site et excellent service. La croupe de boeuf Wagyu a été recommandée par d'autres que j'ai donc essayé. Tout va bien jusqu'à ce que je l'ai vu sur la plaque, le steak a été coupé en 4 morceaux et les ouvertures avaient déjà montré des signes de séchage (notre table avait été arrivée de 6 plats, donc j'ai supposé que c'était coupé et assis dans un endroit d'avertissement en attendant pour que d'autres plats soient prêts). Autre que cela, tout était bon.
Restaurant is a hidden gem in the area. Beautiful sandstone walls and quite intimate but quiet. The food is very high quality and it is a very good restaurant for a reliable nice dinner venue. The steaks are great and usually the menu contains four mains (a lamb dish, fish, beef and vegetarian) plus some specials. Can book on Dimmi which is also a huge plus. The steak was very large but is hiding in the photo I uploaded.
L'ambiance ici est très sympathique, intelligente occasionnelle et accessible. Nous nous sommes assis dans la région extérieure pour quelques boissons et une belle tarte de pot. Le pâteux était parfaitement cuit avec une sauce mijotante remplissante et complimentait le vin rouge que je sirotais. Il y a aussi un restaurant chic à l'intérieur du pub qui a l'air prometteur et je tiens à l'essayer bientôt.

Nice venue and great service. The wagyu beef rump was recommended by others so I gave it a try. It's all good until I saw it on the plate, the steak was cut into 4 pieces, and the openings were already showing signs of drying (our table had 6 dishes arrived, so I assumed it was cut and sitting in a warning place while waiting for other dishes to be ready). Other than that, it was all good.
