We've been coming to the club a few times since our German friend introduced the place to us. Most of the time that we go there, they ran out of stock & things as described on the menu are different when it arrives on our table and their usual excuse is we ran out of this/that so we put this/ that etc.instead without consulting us first. A recent birthday celebration for a family member saw my wife and I attending this club for a family lunch. Although I have visited Austria on numerous occasions I had never been to this club before. The atmosphere and typical artifacts adorning the walls left no doubt as to where we were. With a party of twenty the service and hospitality was excellent. The menu could only be described as authentic with all the familiar pork and schnitzel dishes as well as beef and fish on offer. I travelled over 4 hours to get to sydney after work after a long drive and decided to stop in as I free hungry and needed a drink. I can honestly say it was easily the best place I've been to when it comes to service and quality of food and beer. I was astounded that something so different to what I was used to, off3red such a beautiful family friendly environment while at the same time, the flexibility of being able to enjoy a few beverages with friends.And the service. My God. It's something you only get at a family run pub. I can't honestly talk any tight about this place. Do yourself a favour, give it a chance... Every body is nice and easy going. Food was great no complaints. Very generous servings. The atmosphere was fine. Family friendly everyone had a great time. We need to master the booking system as it seems you need to book early before all tables are...gone. We would be happy to book a year ahead so next time we visit will seek guidance from the friendly staff. We used to drive to wisemans ferry and go to a Swiss chalet that was a fantastic restaurant it's closed now but the Austrian club is as good if not better. The Austrian club provides a happy, friendly, safe family venue that is tastefully immersed in the ways and traditions of a wonderfull people who are welcoming to all.

sgraceful service from the blonde lady manager who was rude to my friend and doesn't appreciate the fact that her mostly empty restaurant needs groups of 12 like us, who have been repeat customers many times over. Even after reserving a table and booking our particular dishes 5 days ahead of time (as she suggested the last time we came, when they had all their favourite dishes unavailable due to organizational ordering issues), we still got served the wrong dishes and were individually told on a few occasions tonight in a rude attitude type manner, that it's not their problem but ours. Disgusting. We will never be back and I will spread the bad news for sure.
Staff are amazing and food is absolutely delicious favourite place to go for a cold one and a feed highly recommended to anyone.The People leaving bad reviews have no idea what they are talking about and there taste buds are broken Best schnitzel I have ever had get the mushroom Garvey.
I've been here many times & it's always fantastic. Huge delicious meals at reasonable prices. Service is always top notch. Bar prices are also good. ( as a famous Austrian says) I'll be back
We've lived in area for 6 years and didn't even know this place existed. The staff are friendly, the service is quick, but if you're gluten intolerant, take your own food!
