When visiting a new area with friends, the task of finding a good place to eat can be a challenge. Just before arriving at the popular tourist resort of Hebden Bridge on the road from Halifax, there is a place called Mytholmroyd with a uniquely named Bar and Tapas. The bright facade of the restaurant offers one of the best tapas bars in the area. Upon arrival, you are given a large paper menu where you can tick off the wide variety of tapas dishes you would like to try. We ordered a selection for four people, which was just the right amount. Last week, we had an incredibly delicious meal at this restaurant for the first time since Covid. We started with marinated olives as our appetizer, followed by four tapas dishes: squid, meatballs, falafel, and shredded lamb, all cooked to perfection and bursting with wonderful flavors. We also enjoyed a side of Patatas Bravas. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere and it looked like everyone was having a great time with the staff.
We popped in as we were in the area whilst our car was getting its MOT. We both had a lovely cooked full English with quality ingredients used, everything piping hot prompt service. The glass of lovely fresh orange juice cup of quality Americano went down a treat. Would highly recommend cannot wait to visit again. The only thing I would suggest is maybe provide a sharp knife to cut the sausage bacon.
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for those with celiac disease and for everyone else. The majority of the tapas options are gluten-free! The food is not only delicious but the service is excellent and the staff are lovely. I'm already thinking about planning a trip to Yorkshire just so I can return to this wonderful place. We have visited this restaurant twice now - once for drinks and then again for an early dinner. On both occasions, the staff were very friendly and the service was impeccable. The prices are fair and all the food we had was delicious. We will definitely be returning and plan to bring along friends and family to experience it as well!
Lovely atmosphere and polite, helpful Staff. Excellent menu and selection of Tapas. Food was well cooked and decent portions. Well worth a visit. Called in today for lunch. Couldn't resist trying the fish and chips and they were excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area
Been for lunch today. What a fabulous place. A good menu, we had the 'small fish and chips '. Beautifully cooked crispy batter, fresh fish and perfect golden 'proper chips. Generous portions, reasonably priced, friendly hosts and excellent service. We will be back.
Just had the most amazing Tuna crunch sandwich to take out, it was lovely. It was also a very good price. I shall return to eat in when I can as the staff are friendly and the cafe is warm, inviting and nicely decorated. Spotlessly clean as well. Réservez une table maintenant
