Un moment rare parmi plus de quatre cents avis : je voudrais attribuer une note de 6. Sur la base d’un déjeuner ici en mai 2018, ‘excellent’ ne rend pas vraiment justice. Dans une salle charmante, avec des vues qui évoquent les contreforts du Jura ou des Pyrénées (difficile de croire que l'on est si proche de la route animée de Rennes à Brest), la nourriture servie était superlative. This restaurant is situated a bit outside of Saint-Brieuc, but easy to reach by car. There is also a free parking lot. Because we didn’t know how long it should take to reach the restaurant we were a bit early. But that was no problem as we were welcomed by the chef, Mathieu Aumont. We were seated and got a beautiful view of the hilly countryside. We choose the degustation menu and started with a very special presentation of amuses. Tout a bien commencé avec deux plats d'ouverture exceptionnels, mettant en valeur l'art du chef dans le choix et l'utilisation des légumes, des fruits et des herbes. C'était beau et satisfaisant. We (party of 4) stopped at 'Aux Pesked ' for a lunch during our vacation in Brittany. Our lunch experience was rather enjoyable with some minor issues concerning the service. The quality of the food was very good, the portions just the right size for a lunch service. The fact that the chef actually served us his dishes together with the waitress added a nice touch to the overall experience. When we paid, we asked the owner to split the bill in four. We paid and left the restaurant. We noticed later on that the owner had actually rounded up each of the four parts of the bill which meant that everyone in our group paid slightly more than we actually owed. I 've been waiting for the longest of time to dine into this superb restaurant. And when an opportunity arose, I said yes without even blinking. Had to quickly find a babysitter and just head there. The deco is truly that of a starred restaurant. The food albeit being expensive was worthy every cent spent! The wine went so well with the food. And the service was pro. Why people expect to be smiled to when they go to dine in such a restaurant is beyond me! When people expect copious amounts and yet forget to mention something about the quality of the food, is beyond me! We've visited Aux Pesked on many occasions over the years and have never been disappointed. As the name suggests, the speciality is fish, and if you like fish, you'll love this restaurant. The dishes are varied and imaginative I don't recall ever having had the same dish twice always fresh, and of the highest quality. The decor of the restaurant was already very good before a major reservation was undertaken a couple of years ago. It is now simply magnificent. And, on a fine day, it is possible to enjoy your meal on the terrace, overlooking the valley. Can't recommend Aux Pesked highly enough. If only we lived a little nearer, we'd be there all the time!
Le décor de ce restaurant est très agréable et offre une vue sur la vallée. Nous avons choisi le menu spécial qui comprenait des coquilles Saint-Jacques de trois façons. Malheureusement, nous ne nous sommes pas rendu compte que cela consistait en trois plats distincts de coquilles Saint-Jacques, et finalement, c'était trop de coquilles Saint-Jacques. Toutes n'étaient pas tendres. Je ne recommanderais pas ce plat. Le dessert n'était rien de spécial. J'ai visité de nombreux restaurants étoilés au Michelin, mais je ne retournerais pas celui-ci. En revanche, le service était irréprochable. Nous étions les seuls convives à l'heure du déjeuner.
I would like to say that our meal here was outstanding, but I'm afraid I can only say it was good. A very dear French friend chose it for us as she knows we love fish and seafood. The menu was very complicated to understand and the food was okay, but nothing to rave about. The service was good. I don't think, however, that we would go again Réservez une table maintenant
Dans le Pesked, à midi, le chef Mathieu Aumont nous a servi personnellement le menu proposé à 32 €, comprenant une entrée, un plat et un dessert. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment avec une belle vue. Viande parfumée, coquilles de cabillaud, Paimpol, jus de pêche et sorbet à la vanille.
