Honestly? Am I really supposed to share this hidden gem I’ve discovered? So you can spoil it for me? The coffee is outstanding, and the sandwiches are not only delicious but also generous in size. And if the rumors are true, their catering is exceptional. But you know what? I’m keeping quiet about this charming café, where the staff is friendly, patient, and efficient. You might even hear a regular customer chatting in authentic Italian while placing his usual order, which brings back memories of family reunions where the elders spoke in broken English but fluent Italian. I guess I have to mention it to a couple of people so they can stay in business until I return, but please, don’t let any...
This restaurant was fantastic and offered great value for money! We ordered five dishes and spent around $30, which gave us plenty of leftovers for a second meal. The rice balls and Verona salad were exceptional. The pizza was a generous slice and tasted wonderful, and the sandwich and eggplant roll-ups were equally delightful. Everything was fresh and delicious! I can't wait to return and sample their gelato and pasta. The service was excellent as well—while we ordered at the counter, the staff went above and beyond to serve us at our table!
The appetizers were average. We had the arancini, which was quite large but rather bland and definitely needed the marinara sauce to enhance the flavor. Unfortunately, my favorite part of the meal turned out to be the bread and butter served at the beginning. Although the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, we struggled to get our waitress's attention when it came time to ask for the check. We wanted to enjoy this place, especially with decent prices and generous portions, but I doubt we will return.
Avanti catered a party for us last weekend, and the food was fantastic! Everything was delicious and plentiful, leaving our guests very satisfied. This isn't the first time we've had Avanti cater our events, and it certainly won't be the last. I order from this restaurant at least once a month, and every Italian sub I've tried has been fantastic. My favorites are definitely the Avanti Classico and the Diavolo. The paninis are also quite good, and I recommend the Italian bean salad as a side dish, although the 'small' portion is a bit pricey for what you receive.
The food here is incredibly fresh and tasty. The service is friendly, and the interior is clean. They also have a convenient drive-through option. I love that they play Italian music—it adds to the atmosphere. The hours are great too, as they open early and stay open late. I highly recommend this place!
