Arrived at noon without a reservation and we were able to get the last outdoor table. Reservation highly recommended. Lunch menu limited but very reasonable at 22 Euros for starter and main. We both had beef carpaccio followed by the two mains offered: fish and chicken. Excellent combination of textures and ingredients. Service efficient and friendly. We were so impressed we reserved for tomorrow. A fine restaurant in central Avignon not to be missed!
It's Michelin bib gourmand and rightfully so. I am glad I had a reservation as at least 20'people stopped by asking for a table but they were fully booked. The martini blanc was perfection. I chose just two courses for 49e: a starter of octopus on potato salad, and the Iberian Pig which came with eggplant mouse and cherry tomatoes topped with pesto. The pig was a little thick, but the leaner pieces with their accompaniments were excellent.
The food was excelent: we had the chevice and octopus for starter, then the haddock and seabass for main. Sadly we were too full for dessert, but all the food was great. Only thing that might be improved i had one glass of white wine (some mediteraneé smth), you could really feel that the bottle had been opened for a long time and the wine had lost its kick (unfortunately the waitress just poured it and did not give me a chance to try it).
Superbe restaurant méritant pleinement son statut Michelin. Service excellent et nourriture merveilleuse. Nous avons pris en entrée une salade d'octopus et de champignons, et en plat principal du porc et du canard. La nourriture était exceptionnelle. Le vin était également bien prix. Hautement recommandé. Réservez une table maintenant
Nous avons passé quelques jours à Avignon et nous avons testé plusieurs restaurants. Celui-ci était le meilleur. Le poisson (morue) était merveilleusement cuit et le dessert était exceptionnel. Bon plateau de fromages et bonne sélection de vins. Prix correct.
