The corned beef Joe is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my entire life. Furthermore, I’ve ordered it probably 10-15 times in the last two months and it’s been almost exactly the same every time. Consistently lights out. I really appreciate a local business (and any business) that takes this much care with its final product. Thank you, Avenue.
I went in looking for a hot sandwich or steak sandwich, but I was assured I would be pleased with a corned beef pastrami sloppy joe. Yummy. Triple yummy. Go here for great food and great value, served up by an enthusiastic and hard-working owner who creates a great experience for all who walk through the door.
This hands down is the best deli in New Jersey, the staff is incredible and beyond friendly, now speaking of the sandwich are top notch! From the breads to the meats and condiments, I highly recommend coming here and getting yourself any sandwich. I can guarantee you it beats any sub shops around!
I have been here 2 times already. I ordered a number 2 sandwich. The sandwich was great. Bread was fresh, meat was delicious, and had plenty on the sandwich. Dressing was just right. Not too much, not too little. And the price was very reasonable. I found my new sandwich place! Réservez une table maintenant
Great quality meats, amazing portion size, fresh bread. Certainly best dollar value for food, you won’t feel like you were robbed after ordering a sandwich. Should have tried this deli sooner won’t be going to Jersey Mikes or another anymore
Great spot for lunch in New Providence. Their local competition only makes this shop shine brighter in both service and value for your dollar. They can be slammed during peak lunch hour but it's always worth the wait.
the Cubano with cherry peppers and jalepenos was the best I’ve had. This is the first time in my life I have been moved to review a restaurant, thank you for the lovely sandwich.
