Whoa. Call me Guy Fieri because I just went to Flavortown. I tried Avenue East for the first time this evening and it totally blew me out of the water. We ordered two spicy tuna rolls 5.50), an eel avocado roll 5.50), a shrimp tempura roll 5.50), a chicken teriyaki entree 13.95), pan fried chicken dumplings 5.95), the buddha's feast entree 9.50), and the house lo mein 9.95). Thanks to the pandemic and working from home, I discovered this hidden gem of a local restaurant that I might have otherwise missed. Now, we order from here several times a month. The sushi is fresh and expertly rolled, avoiding the common issue of falling apart. Their warm appetizers are also really delicious. While I'm not a huge fan of their hot entrees, it's not because they taste bad – they just don't have the same overly-salty, sweet, fatty, or overcooked flavors that I'm used to in Asian fusion cuisine. I just called there to place a “to go pick up order”. The girl on the phone was SO RUDE AND NASTY!!! She even HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I am shocked and very upset!!! I hope the owner of the restaurant sees this review and has a nice little talk with the VERY RUDE staff member! It is 8/20/21 at 6:13 pm and I called literally 2 minutes ago. If an employee has a problem they shouldn't take their anger out on the customers and be nasty!!! I was curious about this place because he's always packed. I took my family to have a quiet dinner and loved the place. Your sushi was great. My wife thinks this is the best sushi in the area. About her Chinese or Thai cuisine, the food is good, but I will not change my go-to restaurant for this: They need more employees in the service. I noticed they had only 2 waiters all over the place, all the tables were in use. This place was made in heaven!Whatever you order is gonna be mouthwatering!The best place to go for sushi too! So far their sushi are the best sushi I’ve ever tried. I literally feel heavenly pleasure from their Godzilla roll! My eyes are looking for more even when I’m full!This place welcomes you with a personal approach. They literally remember names and orders of their constant clients so they greet you remembering what you like. I used to be a loyal customer of this restaurant for a while. I can understand that mistakes can happen, but after specifically requesting an order correction from a previous mistake and even confirming the order over the phone, I was still disappointed to receive the wrong order. On top of that, I had to wait two hours for delivery despite being given a one-hour estimated wait time.

We recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was hands down the best Asian food I have ever had. Everything was delicious and far superior to other standard takeout places. The flavors were on point and I am looking forward to dining in and trying more dishes like the land and sea and coconut chicken dinner. You won't be disappointed with whatever you choose to order.

I just moved into town and after seeing their reviews I decided to give them a try. I could not believe how delicious the food was. I ordered padthai. The owner was nice to me while I was ordering, welcomed me to the community as well. Overall my experience was amazing. I can't wait to try all their items. Delicious food!! We had taken out and there were the hands down the best Asian food I ever had, everything was delicious. It is so much better, then the standard take joint. These guys know flavors. I can't wait to go back and try it fresh. Land and sea and a Coconut Chicken Dinner. Do a favor and get something!!
