Avenue Kitchen Glen Mills

Avenue is an excellent brunch spot with courteous wait staff. There’s an amusing number of rules notices taped up near the door and the cancellation penalty on reservations makes me wonder if Dolores Umbridge is a co-owner. But those peculiar things aside it is still worth a visit.

Anna was exceptional. She called us by name, knew what we drank and what we usually order, and was flawless in her manner, kindness, and service. The food was great, served promptly, and at the right temperature. This was a wonderful experience. Thanks Anna.

I am very disappointed to find out that they have now added a charge for using a credit card for payment. It is very likely that we will no longer be going to Avenue Kitchen for our weekend brunch, due to this additional charge!

Eggs were cold; there was little seasoning and no salt and pepper at the table so we had to chase down a server to bring us some. The restaurant needs some TLC badly. Banquettes are old and torn, and tables are wobbly. Réservez une table maintenant

Not the best experience, young staff seemed distracted. Coffee wasn’t hot, waited 30 min for a scone and it came out burnt, everyone around could smell it. Disappointed for sure.
