Avenue Road Cafe

Cosy cafe, with intimate indoor seating and alfresco dining. It was incredibly busy the day I visited so I was pleased I'd pre-ordered my takeaway coffee via an app. I was greeted by name on arrival at the cafe; the reusable cup I requested be used instead of a takeaway cup probably gave me away. The Double Roasters coffee was fantastically full bodied but the lovely latte art was unfortunately lost under a shower of cocoa. It would seem a return visit is in order.

We went here for what was an earlier than usual breakfast for me on the weekend and this place was buzzing! There's a variety of sweet and savoury dishes on the menu. I went for the ricotta and blueberry pancakes. I found the pancakes a little dry, even with the syrup and ricotta. The service and coffee are fantastic!

Great cafe! Came here on a fine day, and loved the chill Sunday vibes. Food was promptly served by a (v attentive) waiter, and did not disappoint at all! Servings were quite big, and the poached egg ordered was done perfectly. We ordered: Big breakfast Haloumi stack Vegan bowl ( Chia porridge) Love it and would recommend :)

Nice cosy cafe. Staff were friendly and food tasted great. Coffee was perfect and was a smooth blend. Service was fast and didn’t have to wait too long, and I look forward to going back again soon.

Awesome corn and quinoa fritters with a side of bacon, portion size was big and the fritters were delicious. Despite being very busy the service was still good. Must try brunch place!
