"A couple friends and I went to Average Joes on the weekend and it was delicious! The cheese biscuits were warm, and the garlic dip was beyond amazing! I ordered the beef and mushroom (pasta with prime rib, spinach and mushroom in a cream sauce), which I recommend! The portions are super reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a more upscale meal!"

The food and service are very good and the beautiful lake views make for a stunning location to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend the gnocchi. The only issue I could see is the lack of parking as it is near the marina which can get busy when the weather is nice.Parking: As mentioned in my review, the location shares parking with the marina which can be fairly busy when the weather is nice leaving very little parking on the premise. I was still however able to park during a busy day so it shouldn't be too difficult.
Average Joe's is just that, AVERAGE! The food was MEDIOCRE at best. But it was not worth the outrageous price. Overpriced is the understatement of the year. When pulling up to the restaurant, I thought it was a garage. Not worth a repeat. There is nothing special about the menu's a typical greasy spoon. I could not recommend anything on the menu. But will say that the thimble size coleslaw was a joke.Parking: Was a long way from the restaurant.
I had company from out of town. We ordered the duck wings appetizer. They were not wings but thighs...the server didn't even know this. Greasy and disgusting. The entree was risotto with veggies. So thick and unseasoned I had to add a lot of salt. Could only eat half because it was such a heavy dish and the veggies were soggy. I was embarrassed. Never again.Parking: Limited parking
