This a local popular Mexican food restaurant. Avila 's El Ranchito is located on East Coast Hwy, right after Carnation Ave, in Corona Del Mar Also, Avila 's El Ranchito was voted Best Mexican Restaurant in 2020 by readers pulled by the Orange County Register LA. It has been on my list of places to try out. We celebrated my daughter 's birthday here on a November weekend. They have indoor and outdoor dining because; because we had our dog with us, we opted to eat in the outdoor covered patio. I Always thought it looked like a nice restaurant to enjoy an awesome meal. I had the Shrimp al Mojo de Ajo. It was excellent. I would definitely get it again. Shrimp was nicely cooked. The garlic butter is just fantastic. Chips and salsa was very good. Excellent overall, I highly recommend it
