Stopped here on my way to my sisters on our Thanksgiving vacation. It was 9pm and I was so thankful they were still open. They have a full service restaurant in side and it is like going back in time. Everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious. They still have the frosty mug for your root beer float. My boys enjoyed the jukebox. I would definitely recommend stopping here and enjoying a relaxing meal with your family. Make sure to buy yourself one of the root beer mugs they are very affordable.
We have been there several times. Usually the drive through. The food is always good. But the servers are always rude. They are not polite, they never say thank you and they never smile. So after this last bout of rudeness we called the manager. We kindly told her our concerns. She was even more rude. She was confrontational and denied that we've treated the way we were. So either they're being told to be rude and trained that way or they have no idea what being a the least bit polite is.
I was driving thru and stopped by this A&W and I'm glad I did. I usually do drive thru but went inside this day. I was surprised to see you sit, and they come take your order or they have a take out order register. This is the first time I've seen this. The lady was nice and friendly and the food was great! I'll definitely be stopping by here again when I'm back thru. If you're passing by and looking for some good HOT FRESH food, don't pass by this A&W.
Hands down the best A&W around. I'm not sure how the other burger restaurants in the area stay in business. Everything from service to atmosphere and great food at reasonable prices make this our favorite stop in Baldwin. Warning: When ordering the must-have root beer float, be sure to have a plan to prevent overflowing as you don't want to waste any of your treat. Service: Dine in
