Fish was super moist and juicy, which was nicely complemented with the freshness of the cucumber and the cream of the Avo. Rice bowl with Teriyaki Prawns was blowing spirit. It was not overloaded with sauce (see sugar), but the whole combo or rice, crispy salad, sauce and prawns gently marinated in some spices amazing! I and my SO came to the lunch service and were kindly greeted and sitting. We both had the 6-course-set meal, with me the sushi-plate and my spouse with pigtail-curry. Our server was very honest and told my SO that it was too full with the set menu and a bowl of ramen, and they were right! The food was delicious, bought in good time and very varied. The interior was pleasant enough and the prices were very good sushi/sashimi and Japanese food in general is not cheap, but at £70 (inc tip) we feel it was a great value for money. During our staycation in Exeter/Devon, four of us decided to try out Steaks N Sushi for dinner instead of our planned trip to Japan. We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The hotpot was perfect for sharing and the sushi selection was delicious. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with plenty of information on the menu and dishes. The menu had a wide variety of options and the prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant!
We came to this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago, not knowing what to expect. I've tried sushi before but my partner hadn't, it was such a good experience, the setting the atmosphere and the food was amazing, so much so we are planning on returning next week. And for someone who had never tried sushi before she loved it. Many many thanks.

Every time I visit Exeter, this restaurant is always my favorite. It's a bit expensive but definitely worth it. The food is top quality and the portions are generous. It's definitely a must-try in Exeter! I couldn't resist taking a photo of the delicious dishes, especially the grilled squid which was amazing.
Really excellent food good service. The best restaurant in Exeter. It's in another league for everything you can find in the city. Plan somewhere something special to go forget the chain like Ivy. Go here, you won't be disappointed! 5*
Cosy atmosphere, amazing food and overall a beautiful experience. If you only visit Exeter for one day or meet with friends, this is the place to be.
The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, you must give this place a try! I highly recommend it!
