I want to start by mentioning that I work at an A&W franchise, though it's not the location I visited. I went to the Brantford location on Thursday, March 16, around 3:00 PM. First off, the service was acceptable, though it wasn't as friendly as I would expect from this brand. Unfortunately, the food was a different story. The chicken burgers and strips we ordered were limp and dry, clearly past their prime. The onion rings were stale, with a too-thin batter and very little seasoning. I usually make my own onion rings at my home store, and I wouldn't even think about refrigerating those, let alone serving them to a customer. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I visited last night around 1 AM and unfortunately had a negative experience. I was overcharged because the staff member didn’t know how to process a combo, which resulted in me paying for each item separately. The onion rings were extremely dry and lacked seasoning, plus they didn’t provide any dipping sauce. It would be helpful to train the employees on how to use the POS system. As for the onion rings, they’re supposed to be fresh, but these were the worst I’ve ever had at an A&W.
The drive-thru wait to place an order takes at least 20 minutes, regardless of the time of day. They also never seem to have chicken ready. I waited a total of 25 minutes today just for a simple burger and fries. I wouldn’t recommend going here during lunch, as it will definitely eat into your time.
The staff were welcoming and offered complimentary refills of their delicious Root Beer, which is superior to other root beers I've tried at different restaurants. They also provide more coupons than most places, including a $1 fair trade coffee of any size!

Awful service. The drive-thru server was being yelled at and the manager did nothing! Terrible service here and it's awful to witness employees being abused and a manager not doing anything. Yikes.I highly reccomend against eating from this A&W
Excellent food is always fresh and tasty. The best onion rings. The staff at this location is always friendly and helpful. Drive-thru is always quick and effective.There is plenty of parking, the restaurant is always clean.
One of the best places to enjoy delicious breakfasts, lunches, dinners, or any meal. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is nice and clean. I highly recommend it!
