Ayla Turkish Charcoal Prenton

We visited Ayla Turkish Charcoal in Prenton on Christmas Eve with a party of six adults. Our table wasn't properly set, and when we requested cutlery and napkins, they were just thrown on the table. We ordered two share meals meant for three people, but when they finally arrived, the waiter informed us there was no rice left, so we received double chips instead. When we expressed that we didn’t want all those chips, we were told, "Well, that's it." The meal itself was lukewarm and not worth the price. To make matters worse, the waiter was incredibly rude. The staff at Ayla Turkish Charcoal in Prenton were exceptionally friendly, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our drinks were forgotten, some side dishes never arrived, and we only received water halfway through the meal, despite everything being charged to the bill. On the positive side, the food was absolutely delicious — the grilled meats were flavorful, the charred vegetables were tasty, and the warm bread was delightful. I also enjoyed the starters. The restaurant was quite busy, and it took 20 minutes before someone took our drinks order. When our drinks finally arrived, the server carelessly placed them on the table, causing one of them to spill. Instead of checking if we were ready to order, the server walked away.
