We have been wanting to eat here for a very long time. We went yesterday to celebrate our birthdays, which I had selected when did reservation. No acknowledgement about it. We ordered 4 plates -Empanadillas -Albóndiga -Chuletitas -sliders The sliders were ok, the empanadillas were good. But the albóndigas were disgusting. Tasted like detergent. The chuletas the only taste was the breading and they were tough…. Not a good experience to what they charge. Not going here ever again.
Terrible experience. Food was mediocre at best and prices were more expensive than NYC. Awful, unfriendly service. Took forever to take our order, and the server forgot to put in my friend's entree order. Acted like it was our fault and charged full price for the forgotten order, and we had to get into an argument for him to take it off our bill. Will never return here. Total ripoff.
Super impressed with the culinary approach, menu, mixology/ cocktails and service at Azotea, Santaella on our last night spent in SJ. The overall atmosphere and outdoor ambiance of the rooftop was outstanding, admist being right in the center of La Placita/ around loud music. The empanaditas croquettas were some of our favorites!!
The food was great and the drinks were strong! I really enjoyed the ambiance, although the noise from the nearby nightclub was a bit disruptive to the relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience. Réservez une table maintenant
Being a 26 year old female, the bouncer made me and my friend feel very nervous and unsafe. After we got to the top we loved our experience. The security guard out front didn’t need to be a dick.
Overall, my experience was positive. The ambiance is lovely, and the service was excellent. The server was attentive and professional. The food was enjoyable, and the quality was high.
Fernando was our waiter, and he was very nice. The food was excellent and the portions were big enough to share. Highly recommend coming here!

I tried several appetizers, and all of them were excellent. The tuna lollipops are a must-try!
