My favorite Mexican restaurant in Omaha. Love their complementary starters that includes corn chips, bean dip, jalapeño slaw, and salsa. The salsa is not your traditional Mexican restaurant fare, it is a bit spicier and full of flavorful chili peppers. The jalapeño slaw is my absolute favorite of their three starters. The combination of crunchiness, saltiness, and heat really hits the spot. They also give you complementary dessert in the form of fried cinnamon and sugar coated flour crisps drizzled with strawberry syrup and honey and then topped with a small dollop of whipped cream. They are the perfect ending to a great meal. Their food is consistently a winner, and service always friendly...

Just pulled in to the Econolodge in Omaha, tired and hungry. After checking with the clerk at the front desk, we were referred to Azteca Restaurant which luckily was just across the road. In less than 5 minutes, we were being greeted and seated and a very nice waitress was taking our drink orders. The Azteca looks to be quite old but seems to be very well kept and extremely organized. The decor was early ‘70s but we’ll maintained. After a sufficient amount of Margarita, Dos Equis and bowls of chips, we ordered the exact same entree……a chicken enchilada and a beef taco which also was accompanied by refried beans and Spanish rice. The entrees arrived on a plate that had to be 150 degrees. We w...

We had heard about this from friends so we stopped for dinner on our way back to Lincoln, The building is pretty nondescript with the typical older interior but everything seemed clean. Our server (Louis? was fantastic. He explained a number of menu options for my wife, brought everything promptly and checked on us frequently but not too often. I really like that in addition to chips they bring bean dip, jalapeno slaw and a salsa. The salsa was a little spicy for my taste but the wife loved it. I think they offer a milder version. We both had combo meals and agreed that it was definitely well above average. Value for the money was good. The table next to us had some huge burritos that looked...

We placed a large take out order for tacos and chips. Gave Oscar 1 WEEK before we needed the order so plenty of time to plan. We had a specific time we needed the food. The day of our lunch, it was confirmed what time the food needed to be here. The food arrived almost 1 HOUR!!! late. No apologizes, no explanation, no return phone calls. Of course the food was cold and the bottom of the tacos fell out. We tried to help a local restaurant during the pandemic and we were slapped in the face.

We placed a large take out order (tacos and chips) to help a local business during the pandemic. Oscar was given 1 week in advance. It was stressed on more than one occasion what time the food needed to be delivered to feed our employees. Confirmed and once again stressed the time line the morning of the delivery. Order was delivered an HOUR late, no apologizes, no explanations, no return phone call. Food was cold and had to use a fork to eat the taco since the shell was soggy.

Very good service and a good dining experience. The lighting fixtures should be replaced! I like it that both salsa and retried beans are served with the chips. A strawberry and whipped cream on top of a tasty chip is presented with the bill. I didn’t care for the Chile relleno. Crab enchiladas are good!
