Interesting concept with a restaurant and buffet in one! Order both at the counter and stay to eat in or take to go.The buffet looked good and was the popular choice by locals. You tell them what you want and they put it on a plate and weigh it to pay.I opted for a burrito with steak and a salad and hot sauce on the side. Just what I needed post workout.I also had the tres leches cake and it might have been the best that I’ve ever had! The cake portion was amazing and the topping milk cream was to die for. The first time we went the food was Bueno! (Good) the buffet looked fresh and appetizing. Three weeks later we went it was a bit after 11 a.m. the buffet looked old especially the cold pasta salads. We love the stuffed yucca I wanted to buy six but there was ONLY one. They didn't even offer to make fresh ones. I'm over it. PLUS YOU NEED TO SPEAK SPANISH. Thank God I do.
I love Azucar! The food is so fresh, delicious, and authentic. The workers are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. There is always a breakfast and lunch crowd. Everything I’ve tried from here has been so good! Stop by for a meal, snack, or just some coffee or a smoothie.
