First time there....They were well understaffed for a Friday evening with movies and male revue in town. My salad consisted of lettuce, tomato, pile of onions and cheese. Don't know if they forgot the cucumbers or were out of them. I dont eat onions so my salad was tomato lettice and cheese. Not a huge variety of dressing either. Friends at table had to request mayo. Overpriced drink wasn't great either. We waited right at an hour for our food. Yeah an hour for that pitiful salad. Gave a 3 because maybe in slower times of day they are better. I don't know. Probably won't go back.
Really like this place. Everyone is so nice; customers are staff. They work hard to make sure everyone is happy. The bacon is amazing.The apps and burgers are great. My son enjoys them anchors up. Menu has an aviation theme and recognizes veterans.The only thing that we ever ordered that was not what I expected is the fried fish. I only had it once so maybe I need to try it again ?
I give 5 stars overall, however. Burgers are big on their menu. I love a good burger, but they won't cook it below medium well.. I tried it, it's way to cooked and the meat quite dry... Not sure why they won't cook even at medium.. The live music Friday nite was great. Waitress was wonderful, we will be back but not ordering the burgers.. ?
Wow, always a fabulous experience at B52's. Friendly staff from hostess, to our server Tyra, who is the best server we have had since before COVID changed the work ethic. Cteative, delicious food. Owner/manager even stopped by to check on everything. Worth our time to stop in everytime we are traveling from Asheville to Charlotte

Poor lighting, atmosphere and menu selection. We only did appetizers(not good) due to most things were centered around pimento cheese.
The food at this restaurant is delightful, and the service and atmosphere are top-notch! It is also very welcoming for families.
