Locals always know where to find the best food in town and this place is it for breakfast. Yes there are fancier places to have breakfast in Uxbridge, but if you want to skip Eggs Benedict, head over to B&L Country Kitchen. This is a true diner worthy of the "greasy spoon" title. The food here is served hot and fresh...just like their endless cup of coffee. I had 2 eggs over-easy with peameal bacon, home fries and rye toast. To me, eggs are a no brainer and easy to serve well, but too often have I been served thin slices of overcooked peameal (dry) and undercooked home fried potatoes. Not here! I have been here for early or late breakfast many times and without exception the meal was so good. Granted, I'm ordering eggs and bacon; how can you screw that up? Look, this is a local greasy spoon and that's a compliment, lots of bacon piled on the plate with perfectly cooked eggs however you order them. Delicious. And then the bill - ridiculously inexpensive. You won't be disappointed if you want a hearty breakfast or lunch.

This is the town "greasy spoon" in my opinion and that's exactly why I go! Eggs any way you like them, sausage, bacon, peameal and potatoes are the staple fare here. There are also several good lunch sandwiches. Prices are great and the food is plentiful! And, your coffee gets refilled ... while you read the paper.

B&L serves up the best burger in town. A greasy drippy bacon banquet burger is just what you need sometimes. They staff is quick with orders and the place is always buzzing.

Breakfast and lunch are the specialties. Bacon and eggs, grilled cheese, salads. All good. Coffee is hot and plentiful - just what's needed for a simple satisfying meal.
