I've seen this location before, but I never stopped by to try the food. I decided to stop by and grab a bite on a late afternoon. Food 4/5: Pad Thai w/o Peanuts The menu did not specify that it came with peanuts, but my girlfriend knew it did, and asked them to not add any. The thai noodles have good flavors, however, I was not the biggest fan of the sweetness. You get a large portion of thai noodles and I'm usually good at finishing all my food, but it was a struggle to eat all of it. If you don't eat all your food, you'll definitely have leftovers. This is our favorite must stop restaurant when visiting Kansas! My SIL was stationed Fort Leavenworth and we already were fans of Baan Thai from their Manhattan, KS (where his first duty station was at Fort Riley) we have to stop here when arriving Kansas and leaving. We love their basil wings, that's a definite on the order. We usually have our shrimp pad Thai, garlic ribs, basil wings, crab Rangoon, fried rice and ginger duck. Of course my Thai ice tea! The restaurant features a beautifully designed atmosphere and impressive architecture. There is a spacious room on the upper floor suitable for private gatherings. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and a variety of flavorful choices. While the dishes come with mild seasoning, you can easily adjust the heat level to your liking. For those seeking vegetarian options, they offer tofu and vegetable dishes, and they can also prepare meals to be vegan upon request. Service is available for dine-in.

The crab fried rice is heavenly! Every time I go there or order in, I browse the menu but settle on the crab fried rice. Maybe one day I'll venture into other menu items but for now, crab fried rice! Pretty good place. I'm a fan of their food but the ambiance is a little older and the service is a little slow. They can also accommodate large reservations catered to the upstairs for functions
