This tucked away little cafe is something you'd expect to find in the throws of the inner city. A small, asian inspired menu, with some nuances of the 'old fashioned' inner city menu items thrown in. I had the Wagyu Burger which was recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. Lip smacking yum, and for a burger, not too big either.. bang on some divine chips on the side and you're full in no time. By a friend's recommendation, we decided to have lunch here one weekend and catch up with old friends. It was a Sunday and they do not accept bookings except to be on time and queue. We did, but for a short while, being given a table shared with a couple. The pork belly is nice albeit a small piece, about 3in x 3in. Pancake looks very rich and creamy. Serving staff is friendly. However, price is a bit steep for that sort of serving.
I would have to say this was the best pork belly I've ever had. Without trying to sound all master chef, it was and incredible mix of flavors that complimented each other perfectly. This was a quality I would expect to receive in a 5 star restaurant, Resonbly priced and beautifully presented with friendly service to as well. I'll definitely be making it a regular visit.
Had no brekkie so starving on arrival at midday. Chock full so sat outside despite a little chilly for my husband.Warmed by good hot coffee and good healthy light meals. Asian inspired omelette and Korean chicken wrap. Crispy beer batter fries and aioli.Lovely pleasant lunch with minimal train noise despite the proximity. Will go again!

I read the reviews and they were all very good so though we try it, were waiting for at least 45 mins with small child so while we were waiting my husband had to take our child to Leos supermarket for some food as she was very hungry. The food was actually very good but haven't been back as the wait is too long for what you get.
Went for brunch on a Saturday. Matcha latte had great flavour and was unsweetened, which was a good idea. Had the pork belly, which was tender and the crackling was on point. The accompanying watermelon salad was refreshing. The burger patty was moist and I would highly recommend it! Would revisit!
Just behind Burwood train station is Baba Sus, with a different take on breakfast. Not an extensive menu by any means but a very good outcome. Tried the pork omelete which is very yummy and the corn fritters with a fantastic mix of flavours. The coffee is good and the staff attentive.
Finally somewhere worth going to! As much as I love my local favourites, if someone suggests Baba Sus - I'm in! However I don't know if I can do their

A little travel to Glen Iris to visit Baba Sus and it was worth it Great open space with a lot of sunlight, perfect for morning person.
This is a super cute cafe hidden near Burwood station.
