Food was so good! The place looks a bit older and so-so on decor but who cares because the food was amazing! The brisket melts in your mouth. The smoked links and pulled chicken were both delicious as well! We got mac cheese and the cucumber salad which were both worth getting again. The mashed potatoes were a bit thin for me. The barbecue is pretty good, I will say that. However, the prices are insanely high for what you get. I ordered the $17 3-meat plate. I was very disappointed. They sent very little meat. 4 slices of brisket (I had ordered double brisket) and 4 pieces ofrib tips. Also, each side is $7. Not nearly tasty enough to warrant the high price tag. I called the restaurant back to see if Imight have forgotten a box of meat and was told that's just how it comes.
What an incredible experience! It was my first time visiting this place, and they kindly offered to prepare a sampler plate for me so I could try a bit of everything before making my order. Everything was delicious, but I particularly enjoyed the ribs and hot links. You can really see their passion for BBQ, blues music, and customer service. I live more than an hour away, but I will definitely return!
8. March 2018 we sacrificed the Baby Back Blues BBQ for our son's tasting dinner. When delivered to the Hawk brewery in Channahon, the service set-up was fast and the food was hot and delicious. Service is always good but this time the meat fell short I couldn’t even eat my rib tips so hard and chewy and beef brisket was dried I will be calling today , fries was awesome as usual complaint is the meat I was on my lunch didn’t even get chance to eat yesterday working 12 hr shift Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
First time yesterday. Kenny and staff were very friendly. Ordered pulled pork and tips mac n cheese and coleslaw which was very good. Since we were first timers we were served a sample of sausage, brisket and ribs. All of these were delicious especially the sausage. We will definitely be back.
I discovered this place on Chicago's Best and it definitely lived up to the hype! I ordered a full slab of ribs and a brisket sandwich, both of which were fantastic. The enticing aroma of hickory smoke wafting from outside draws you right in.
One of my favorite BBQ places and food establishments in general. Always have great service and such great food!!! Love the bbq pulled pork, mashed potatoes, and cucumbers !

Love the food. I live in Ft Wayne Indiana and get to to Joliet area about once a year, I only eat dinner at Baby Back Blues. I have never been disappointed.
