"Dinner with a a couple of pescatarians was a breeze with this menu. Fresh, delicious sashimi and a bunch of great vegetarian and cooked seafood dishes marked by inventive flavours and textures. Attentive service and a good wine least help the meal among. Stand outs were the scallops and the kingfish, raw and cooked. I'll be. Act in my guise as an omnivore very soon."

Good food, good service, up until the point we were asked to vacate the table. Upon booking we advised of arrival at 6:30pm. We arrived at 6:30pm. We were also advised we need to vacate the table by 8:30pm, no problem. Very surprised when we were approached at 8:05pm and advised we had 5 mins if we wanted to order dessert. Of course we did. Then 5 mins later, the waitress advising if we wanted dessert it would have to be takeaway. What a joke!! I decided not to order. Yes food was great, but no I will not be returning. What ever happened to a thing called customer service. The manager seemed to be calling the shots because he buried his head as we left. No thank you, even though my bill for 2 adults and 1 child was $250.

We've been to babyface twice now, for dinner and lunch. The food is simple, tasty and perfect for sharing. We had the duck wonton dumplings, seared tuna salad and fried chicken. All of which were delicious. The small restaurant does get crowded in The evenings which in turn can be a bit noisy but our lunch date was nice and quiet. I have to commend the waitress on making one (well two) of the yummiest cocktails I've ever had- the cherry blossom. If you're a lover of gin and raspberries then this is one not to miss! I'm hoping I have an excuse to get a few friends together and book out the private table around the corner soon- this gem is too good not to share!

First time visit to this establishment. Food was very tasty, although we felt the menu could be more expansive. Ended up doubling up on some mains to get enough food for the four of us.... serves are on the small side. Service was quite good, but we were very surprised for a Saturday night to have beer and wine selections not being available, and to have one dessert to chose from at the end of the meal. For the price point this place did not hit the mark.

Food was lovely, service too, entree of Sashimi was great, Wagyu brilliant, but finished on the Kingfish which disappointed, was tough.Fine dining prices for no tablecloths, freezing cold space, and portions not fulfilling. For over $200 for 2 people in Wollongong with only one person having 2 drinks, expectations are high, and sadly Babyface didn't fulfil. Portion size too small for nearly $30 per plate and main $38. Off to grab a second dinner now :/
