I came to Babylon for the reviews I saw on the happy cow app. I wasn't disappointed. richard was so welcoming, made my food fresh and had a great conversation with me while he cooked. he cooked my cousin to order (not precooked) and let me smell and test everything he did for me. his hummus is to die, but I will always come for his house falafel made! he makes it fresh every morning with a cheek he softens over at night. it's by far the best falafel I've ever had. he cooked it on the grill above, so it came so crispy at the edges and damp inside. Okay, I was here a few times and had a great experience each time. we ordered falafel hsps and kebabs and the owner asked if he could test new vegan options for us. including homemade vegan tzatziki, the most tasteful couscous dishes and baked zataar-cauliflower bites. the owner wants to increase vegan options when people begin to ask for them.
the falafels are fresh and made from scratch and are delicious as the hummus. if they are warned...the brot is roasted on the same grill as the meat, so if they do not want meat juices to contaminate their kebab, they make sure that before the time. peculiarities very open to this question.
